Kamari is a famous beach resort of Santorini situated 10 km southeast of Fira, the island’s capital. The beach of Kamari is fully organized offering a wide range of facilities such as restaurants, sunbeds, umbrellas and various types of water sports activities. One of the main archeological attraction is Ancient Thira. Ancient Thira consists of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine ruins and is an atmospheric and rewarding site to visit. The ruins include temples, houses with mosaics, the ancient agora (market) and other old settlements.
