Kamari Black Beach The most beautiful volcanic black sandy beach
Kamari is a famous beach resort of Santorini situated 10 km southeast of Fira, the island’s capital. The beach of Kamari is fully organized offering a wide range of facilities such as restaurants, sunbeds, umbrellas and various types of water sports activities. That is why it’s very popular among other Santorini beaches.
The main attraction of the village is the volcanic black sandy beach. Kamari extends along 5 km, where you can find many traditional and fine dining restaurants. Both offer fantastic dishes like fresh fish and seafood.

One of the main archeological attraction is Ancient Thira. Ancient Thira consists of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine ruins and is an atmospheric and rewarding site to visit. The ruins include temples, houses with mosaics, the ancient agora (market) and other old settlements.
